Our sheep are predominantly lambed between mid-march and mid-april. The lambs are then reared by their mothers for about four months. They are then fattened on grass throughout the rest of the year.
Lamb For The Freezer
Each lamb comes ready packed for the freezer.
Each lamb consists of:
- 2 Whole or 4 ½ leg joints
- 2 Whole or 4 ½ shoulder joints
- 16 Chops
- 2 Loin joints
- 4 Stewing packs
The average weight for a lamb is 18 kilos.
Price & Purchasing
Lambs are regularly prepared to order.
The price for October 2004 was:
- Whole lamb £70
- Half lamb £36
We also keep a stock of lamb joints, chops, neck (for stew) etc in our freezer for smaller purchases.
